GotSport GotLogos Widget

The GotSport’s ‘GotLogos’ widget is where you can showcase all of your partners or sponsor. When a visitor clicks on a logo in this section, they will be directed to that logo’s website. 

We will be going over the following in this article:

Locate / Add ‘GotLogos’ Widget

Let’s say you are creating a page and want to showcase your sponsor and/or partners. You easily can add this section by using the GotSport’s ‘GotLogos’ widget. GotSport Widgets are found when you are editing your page through Elementor.

  1. If you have not yet opened the page you would like to add your ‘Logos’ widget to, go ahead and click on “Edit with Elementor”

2. On the next page, scroll down the widget panel until you see the category ‘GotSport Custom Widgets‘ – click the arrow to expand.

3. Drag the ‘GotLogos’ widget into the section and release. By default, four image placeholder’s will be lined up in a row.

Customize ‘GotLogos’ Widget
Click on the widget handle to pull up the edit screen in the left panel.

Here you can do the following:

When finished, select Update/Publish at the bottom bar of the Left Panel

Choose the Style for your GotLogos

  1. Hover and click on the widget handle to pull up the edit screen in the left panel.
  2. Scroll Down to “Affiliate Logo Style‘.
  3. Use the Drop down to select Normal or GreyScale.
    • Normal: Logos will look like the original image uploaded. When a visitor hovers over the logo the logo will slightly expand
    • Greyscale: Logos will have be in black & white. When a visitor hovers over the logo, the logo will change to the original color and slightly expand.
  4. Click Update/Publish to save when you are done.

Choose the Style for your Logos

  1. Hover and click on the widget handle to pull up the edit screen in the left panel.
  2. Scroll down to ‘Image Max-Height‘.
  3. Use the slider to adjust the height of your images.
  4. Click Update/Publish to save when you are done.

Affiliate Name / Add Hover Text
Organization’s name for the logo you are using. As soon as you add an Affiliate Name this will allow a user to hover over the logo/image and see the Affiliate name.

If you delete the Affiliate Name then this will remove the hover/text effect.

Choose Image
Hover over the image box for the ‘Choose Image’ option to slide up. Click on the ‘Choose Image’ bar to bring up the Media

  1. Your media library will pop up. Select the image in your media library so a blue checkmark appears in the top right corner. If you do not see your media, you can upload the media into your library by selecting the Upload files tab or Drag & Drop your image from your desktop. Once you locate the correct image, press SELECT at the bottom.
  2. You will now see your new Image in the field

Affiliate Link
Insert the URL of the organization for the logo. When a visitor clicks on the logo they will be taken to the URL in this section.

 

Don’t forget to click Update/Publish to save when you are done.

How to Add / Remove GotSport Sidebar Events/Program
GotSport Integrations include a sidebar of your progroms/events information. This info is pulled from the GotSport Platform.
Please note: This option will removed the GotSport sidebar from ALL of your GotSport Programs/Events pages

  1. Login to the Website’s Dashboard.
  2. From the ‘Appearance‘ menu on the left-hand side of the Dashboard & select ‘Customize‘
  3. Select ‘Layout Settings to bring up the Active Theme Customization Dashboard.
  4. Click on ‘Display Events/Programs Sidebar’ to display the drop down. Click yes or no.

Do not forget to click ‘Publish‘ at the top of the left column when you make any changes.

Add / Delete / Duplicate GotLogos

  1. Hover and click on the widget handle to pull up the edit screen in the left panel.
  • To Add – Scroll down to the bottom of the left panel and click the + Add Item button. This will add a new logo at the bottom of the list. 
  • To Duplicate – Locate the sheets of paper icon between the game’s title and the X icon and click on it. This will paste a duplicate logo just below the card you wanted to duplicate.
  • To Delete – Look for the title of the logo you want to delete and click on the X icon. This will permanently delete the logo.

When you have made all of your edits, Click Update/Publish at the bottom of the panel to save.
