  2. Click on Publish to Save
Tip: If you want a solid background (no picture) make sure to remove Image

Background Image Size
*Only for Non Full Width Templates

This image is a background for all pages when you select NO in Full Width Template.

  1. Under ‘Background Image Size‘ select between Contain, Cover, Auto.
  2. Click on Publish to Save

Definition of each option:

  • Auto Image Size: The background image will be displayed with its actual size.
  • Contain Image Size: The background image will be scaled to fit the width of the section
  • Cover Image Size: The background image will be scaled so both the height and width fit inside your page.

Things to keep in mind:

  • Auto runs the risk of showing an enlarged version of the image
  • Contain might mean leaving solid space below the image.
  • Cover runs the risk of showing a scaled image that is either too big. The bigger your page, the bigger the image’s height will stretch.

Example of 'Contain'

Good if you want to keep the quality of your background image.
Pro Tip: If you are not repeating your image, add a gradient fade to the bottom of your BG image for a seamless transition

Example of 'Cover'

Pro Tip: If you have a lot of content on your pages, ‘Cover’ is best used with a ‘Fixed’ option under ‘Background Image View’

Example of 'Auto'

Good if you have a small image that you want to repeat. If you would like to use it as a pattern like the example below, do not forget to select the ‘Repeat’ option for ‘Background Image Repeat’
